I've been thinking a lot about the atmosphere around that bar where Jess Hackney was tragically killed. It's both chilling and surreal to think that a place designed for relaxation and socializing turned into a crime scene in an instant. I can’t imagine the trauma for witnesses or for those who just wanted a night out with friends. It makes me wonder about the safety measures bars and similar venues have in place. Could improved security or even better lighting outside have deterred the shooter? My heart goes out to Jess's family and everyone else affected. It’s a stark reminder that we never truly know when something like this could disrupt our lives or communities. Thoughts?
