I've been following Miguel Angel Guel-Gonzalez's case from the start, and something that haunts me is the idea that he might have been targeted after leaving work. It’s so chilling to think about someone possibly watching him, plotting this violent act. Miguel seemed like such a hardworking young man with a bright future ahead. He just wanted to study mechanics and support his family, which makes this violence even more senseless. I can’t imagine the immense pain his mother, Heraclia, must feel every day knowing she lost her son to such a brutal act. It’s truly distressing that the investigation hasn’t moved forward and there aren’t any leads. Has anyone heard about any new efforts or initiatives to get this case more attention? I feel like we need to keep talking about it, keeping it in the public eye, so that justice for Miguel isn't forgotten. Thoughts and prayers to his loved ones as they continue to navigate this tragic loss.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following Miguel Angel Guel-Gonzalez’s case, and something that really sticks with me is how little coverage it seems to be getting. For a city as big as Chicago, it’s surprising and saddening how stories like Miguel’s can sometimes fade into the background when there are no quick developments. Miguel was only 22, taken from his family in such a brutal way, and it feels like his story deserves so much more attention. I'm curious if anyone has seen or heard anything new that hasn't hit the media yet? Or if there's anything we can do collectively to bring more focus to Miguel's story? His family and community need our support, not just in words but in boosting awareness too. The more eyes and ears we have on this, the better the chance, I believe, for the family to get the answers and justice they truly deserve. Let’s keep talking and sharing until there’s a breakthrough. His family shouldn’t have to fight for answers alone. Stay safe, everyone.
