I keep coming back to the whole setup of that illegal nightclub. It's troubling to think about how easily these places can operate under the radar, masquerading as legitimate businesses. Meagan's death has made me more aware of how much of this goes unnoticed around us. Anyone could unwittingly walk into one of these spots, thinking it's just an ordinary night out. The lack of security and oversight creates such a dangerous environment. It's horrifying that what should have been a fun night out turned so tragic. My heart goes out to Meagan's family and friends. I hope places like this are getting more scrutiny because no one should ever have to endure such a senseless loss.

You'd think something like that would raise red flags considering how dangerous these illegal spots can get.
