Does anyone else feel a deep sense of frustration when thinking about Curtis Brown's case? ? It breaks my heart to see another young life lost in Baltimore's never-ending cycle of violence. Curtis was just 32, with so much life ahead of him, and his murder in a neighborhood that has long been plagued by crime really hits hard. It's like the city is caught in this horrible loop that no one can break. The 1100 block of W. North Avenue isn't just a random spot—it's a focal point of pain and tragedy for so many families. I can't even begin to imagine what his loved ones are going through, knowing that justice seems to be an elusive concept here. What makes it worse is that Curtis's story isn't unique—so many young men that year alone have similar fates. I hope one day Baltimore can heal and find a way to put a stop to this violence once and for all. Curtis and so many others deserve that. Would love to hear thoughts on what can be done to prevent these tragedies from continuing.
