Has anyone else been following the Larry Purnell case? It's so frustrating and saddening to see how gun violence disrupts lives and communities. I recently came across a detail about how Larry ran toward the gunfire—what an incredibly selfless act. It says so much about his character and his instinct to help others, even when it meant risking his own life. It’s terrifying that such a brave person was taken while trying to protect others. I really hope they find the people responsible so the families of Larry and Brandon Slater can at least have some sense of justice. The fact that there’s no video footage makes it harder for investigators, which is why anyone with information needs to come forward. I hope his story inspires more people to get involved in battling this violence before more families have to go through such pain. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Purnell family. They truly deserve peace and answers.
