Has anyone else come across this case of John Wesley Gruver from Newport, Oregon? It’s been decades since he went missing, but I stumbled upon his story recently and found it so perplexing. What stands out to me is the scar on his forehead—it's a really distinctive feature. I keep wondering if someone out there might remember seeing him because of that. Given how long it's been, is it possible that someone out there might have met him or spoken to him without even realizing it back in the day? It feels like cases like his often get overlooked because there’s so little information out there. Would love to hear if anyone has any theories or similar stories from that area or time.
