Has anyone else been following the news about Emmanuel Scott's tragic death? I just read that the shooting happened right in the Washington Park neighborhood, and it's such a terrible reminder of how violence can strike so close to home. People in the community are understandably shaken, and it's alarming that there are no solid leads on who might be responsible. I can't begin to imagine what Emmanuel’s family is going through right now—not only dealing with their loss but also not having any closure or justice yet. It’s crucial for those who might know something to come forward. This is a painful situation for all involved, and it’s a conversation we need to keep having to push for change. It feels like more needs to be done to address these senseless acts of violence and protect our neighborhoods. Thoughts and prayers to Emmanuel's loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
