Has anyone heard any updates about the incident that took the life of Markus Simmons in May 2022? It's confusing and frustrating that there's been so little information shared with the public. The fact that Cook County sheriff's police haven't released details about suspects or a possible motive is concerning. I totally understand that they must have their reasons for withholding info, but it makes it harder for the community to feel like justice is being pursued actively. I’m curious if anyone knows more about the situation, anything circulating locally perhaps? My heart goes out to Markus's family. It must be so tough to have to wait for answers. Has anyone else noticed the eerie silence from the authorities on this case? It's just so frustrating that there haven't been any updates about suspects or leads. I can't even begin to imagine what Markus' family must be going through with no answers in sight. It feels like too many of these cases get swept under the rug, and the families are left with heartache and no closure. If there's any truth to the idea that the first 48 hours are crucial, then why does this feel like it's stalled? I really hope someone speaks up soon with information that can help bring justice for Markus. He and his family deserve to have some peace. Anyone have any thoughts on why it's taking so long?
