Has anyone else been thinking about the safety of musicians in the Chicago area, especially those involved in the rap scene? Tristian Hamilton, aka FBG Cash, is the latest in a line of talented individuals whose lives were cut short. While I know there's a lot to piece together in terms of what happened to him and why, it really worries me how often artists with potential are facing these dangerous situations. It seems like they're constantly getting caught up in violent environments, which shouldn't define their careers or lives. Does anyone have thoughts on how the community or industry might protect these artists better or change things for the better? I'm sending my thoughts to Tristian's family and friends, and hoping for peace and safety for all involved.
