I can't stop thinking about the presence Jacki had in the North Shore Congregation Israel community. As someone who has attended a few events there, I can personally attest to the warmth and dedication she showed in every event she coordinated. Her ability to make everyone feel welcomed was truly special, and her smile could brighten even the gloomiest days. It’s so hard to comprehend that such a light was taken from this world in such a tragic way.
It’s incredibly touching to hear about how her husband Bruce and daughter Leah have been open about their grief and the painful void Jacki’s absence has left. Their strength during this unimaginably difficult time is commendable, and it really makes me think about how we can all come together to support not just the Sundheim family but everyone affected by this horrific event.
Does anyone know if there have been any new initiatives or community projects inspired by Jacki’s legacy or the values she held dear? It would be heartening to see something positive grow amidst all this pain. We owe it to Jacki and all the victims to never forget and continue striving for a safer world.

At the memorial service, the stories shared highlighted her warmth and dedication, especially how she made everyone feel welcome and valued. Having been a part of people's lives for so long, first as a preschool teacher and later as an events coordinator, she built strong bonds that were evident in the outpouring of support.
It's comforting to know that even in the midst of such a terrible tragedy, the community remains strong and united. The love and resilience shown by Jacki’s family, especially her husband Bruce and daughter Leah, are truly inspiring.
