I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of local initiatives in cases like that of Ronald "Lil Ron" Miller Jr. It's truly moving to see the community coming together to support his family and the investigation efforts. The fact that local pastors have initiated a fund to help find and bring those responsible to justice speaks volumes about the communal spirit in Danville. It must provide some comfort to his family to know that so many people cared for Ron, even if it's in such a devastating time. Does anyone know how successful these community-driven initiatives have been in other cases? I’m hopeful, as they seem to often bring a sense of urgency and support that can sometimes nudge investigations forward. My heart goes out to Lil Ron’s family and friends during this trying time.
