It's been almost a decade since Eric Gaven Hatcher tragically lost his life in the Gaslamp District, and it's painful to think that those responsible still haven't been brought to justice. I can't imagine the torment his family must endure every day. What's been on my mind lately is the role of bystanders that night. The area, known for nightlife, would have been bustling even at that hour. There had to be witnesses or people who saw something, even if it was just the suspects leaving the scene. It baffles me that with so many potential eyewitnesses, nothing substantial has emerged. Does anyone else think there might have been additional factors or distractions? Maybe people were hesitant to come forward? I sincerely hope those who were there reconsider what they remember. Every little detail could matter. If anyone has information, now's the time to help bring some peace to Eric’s loved ones.
