Does anyone know if there have been any recent efforts to search the depths of Palisades Reservoir with updated technology? With today's advancements in sonar and underwater drones, perhaps it might be possible to finally bring some closure to Larry Hill's family and those of the others who disappeared with him. It's been over 40 years, but I imagine any new information or recovery could be significant for those left behind. Also, has anyone heard if the area has been reassessed for similar hazards in recent years?
Has anyone looked into the possibility of unexpected currents in the Palisades Reservoir that day? I know that area can be unpredictable, and strong undercurrents could easily have caught the group off guard, making survival even more difficult.
