It’s truly shocking to think about how a loving marriage could end in such a tragic way. I’ve been reading about Norma Smith’s case, and something has been bothering me. I’m curious if anyone else is wondering about the mental health aspect in this situation? Don Smith didn’t have any history of violence or legal issues, which has me thinking - were there signs of mental distress that went unnoticed or untreated? It's just so sad to think that maybe this could have been prevented with the right help. My heart goes out to Norma’s family, and I hope they can find some peace after this horrible ordeal.
