I was just reading through some details about the tragic loss of Tacara Tunstall, and I can't stop thinking about how incredibly senseless this act of violence was. It's even more bewildering that no arrests have been made, despite such a blatant and violent act happening right in the neighborhood. Living in a community where this kind of thing can happen is terrifying, and I feel for the residents of Gresham who are constantly confronted with this threat. It makes me wonder about the psychological impact on the survivors of the shooting and the community at large. They must be living in fear, always looking over their shoulders. We can't bring back Tacara or undo the harm done, but I hope this sparks deeper discussions about preventing gun violence and bringing some peace to neighborhoods like Gresham. My thoughts are with Tacara’s family and friends—no family should have to endure this kind of loss.
