I've been following the case of John Park closely, and my thoughts go out to his family during this incredibly difficult time. I’ve been reflecting on how mental health crises can sometimes spiral into tragic outcomes like this. It's so important for families to have access to resources and support, especially when dealing with severe mental health disorders like schizophrenia. The fact that Zack had a prior incident with a firearm in 2017 but wasn’t arrested really highlights how crucial early intervention and consistent mental health care are. I hope this case shines a light on the importance of mental health services and fosters more conversations about how we can prevent tragedies like this in the future. Stay strong to everyone involved, and may John rest in peace.
