Does anyone else find it painfully hard to imagine what Rodney's mom, Chalesia Clayton, must be going through? Not only did she have to witness Rodney's tragic death, but she's also dealing with her own physical injuries from that day. The pin and screws in her arm must be a daily reminder of the horrific event. On top of everything, losing Heaven too just seems like too much for any one person to bear. It’s unimaginable. I hope the community around them finds ways to uplift and support them as they pursue justice for Rodney. It’s times like these that really highlight the importance of community support and advocacy for change. If anyone has any ideas on how we can further help families in similar situations, please share. This cycle of violence just has to stop.
