It's been over a year since Juana Rivera vanished, and I find it so strange that the surveillance footage from around her neighborhood hasn't been more helpful. Has anyone else thought about the possibility that maybe the cameras didn't catch anything because they were malfunctioning or not positioned properly? With all the technology we have these days, it's hard to believe they couldn't gather more from CCTV. I've seen this happen in other cases where either the footage is poor quality or crucial times are missing. It's such a critical tool in helping solve these mysteries, and I wish we had more to go on. Anyone have thoughts or know if the family has pushed for another review of the footage?

I was just thinking about Juana Rivera's case and how crucial online communities can be in situations like this. It's been over a year now, and I can't help but wonder how technology and social media can further aid in finding her or at least in gathering new information. Has anyone here seen any innovative ways online platforms have successfully helped in locating missing persons? I remember reading about facial recognition software being used or even geo-targeting missing persons' info to specific areas. Maybe we could brainstorm some strategies to get Juana's case back in the spotlight? Every little bit helps when traditional methods hit a wall.
