Hey everyone, I’ve been reading about the William Jack Starke case, and it's still so perplexing after all these years. Something that I've been pondering is the fact that his 1974 International Scout wasn't found either. It seems unusual for both a person and their entire vehicle to just disappear without a trace. I've heard of similar cases where the key to solving it came down to the vehicle. Maybe it was just an overlooked detail back then, or the terrain around Coos Bay is particularly difficult? Does anyone local know about any places a vehicle could be hidden or submerged that wouldn’t have been checked in the early 80s? Just throwing thoughts out there, hoping we might stumble upon something new!

I've been diving into the William Jack Starke case again, and one detail keeps nagging at me. Does anyone else find it odd that his 1974 International Scout, with such a unique color combo, has never resurfaced? Tan body with a white roof isn't exactly a common look. It's been over 40 years, and I know a lot of time has passed, but it seems like a vehicle with Oregon plates would have popped up somewhere by now. Even if it was dismantled for parts or scrapped, surely something would have been traced back to it, right? It's just another layer of mystery in this case. Thoughts?
