I’ve been reading about Mary O'Dell's case, and something that just sticks with me is how involved the community was right from the beginning. It's almost like the whole town came together, trying desperately to bring her home. I wonder if there was anyone not directly involved at that time who may have seen or heard something relevant but didn’t realize its importance. Sometimes, witnesses don't initially think what they've seen is significant. If only there were a way to reach those peripheral acquaintances, like someone who saw a car parked in an unusual place back then or overheard a conversation by chance. It's hard not to think that someone out there might hold a piece of the puzzle without even realizing it. Did anyone else come across comments or details from back in the day that pointed to this type of scenario? I know it’s been decades, but it could be worth revisiting local accounts or personal memories from people in that area during the early '80s.
