I'm truly saddened by what happened at Moore's Ford Bridge. One thing that's often overshadowed is Dorothy Malcom's story. At just 20 years old, she was caught up in this horrific event. It's so difficult to imagine the fear and hopelessness she must have felt in those final moments, especially being a young woman hoping for a future. Her life and dreams were taken away in such a brutal manner, and it hurts to think that those responsible were never brought to justice. I often think about how she and Mae Murray Dorsey might have leaned on each other for support, both women facing unimaginable circumstances. The impact of losing both women is felt across generations; families torn apart and communities left with an open wound. Let's not forget Dorothy and try to remember her not just as a victim, but as a person who deserved so much better. Hoping one day more people recognize the full gravity of what happened and continue working towards a world where such tragedies never occur again.

Has anyone else looked into Loy Harrison's role in all of this? It’s haunting to think about his involvement. He was the one who bailed Roger Malcom out and was driving the group when the mob attacked. I can’t wrap my head around his part in the events. Was he genuinely trying to help, or was there something more sinister? It just seems odd that he was the only white person present, and yet he wasn't harmed or implicated. It troubles me how he returned to life after this horrific event while the families of the victims never found justice. I wonder how they coped, living within the shadows of unanswered questions and closed doors. It’s hard to imagine the strength they must have needed to continue on. I truly hope more light is shed on this aspect, even if the case is officially closed.

I've been digging into the Moore’s Ford lynching, and something's been bothering me about Loy Harrison's role that day. Why would Harrison bail Roger Malcom out only to drive directly into harm’s way? It’s hard not to wonder if he knew more than he ever admitted. Being the one who brought Roger, Dorothy, and the Dorseys into that tragic situation seems too coincidental. I can’t imagine the fear they must have felt, trusting Harrison to get them home safely, only to be led into a trap. My heart goes out to their families who have had to live all these years without justice for their loved ones. I can't shake the feeling that there’s more to Harrison’s story that we’ll never know. Was he just a pawn in a bigger scheme, or did he have a darker role in this terrible event?
