Has anyone delved into how staffing and oversight were at the Sunland Center back when Louis Holloway disappeared? Given that it wasn't the only case from there, it makes you wonder about the conditions residents lived under and how things might have been overlooked. I've read that the facility has undergone changes since then, but was there ever an investigation into the staff or management practices during that period? It seems like for someone with no history of trying to escape, there might be more to uncover about the environment he was living in. I'd love to hear if anyone has more details or insights about the center during the 80s.
