I've been thinking about the timeline of events the night Johnny Mac was killed. It seems like there are so many gaps. If the bar was open, wouldn't there have been patrons around or at least someone nearby to potentially see or hear something? Also, I wonder if there were employees working with him that night who might have remembered anything unusual leading up to the murder. It's saddening to think how a person's life can be taken in such a public place, and yet the details can remain such a mystery. My heart goes out to his family and friends who have waited so long for answers. Hopefully, there are still pieces of the puzzle out there waiting to be found. If anyone has local knowledge or remembers being around the Five Paces Inn during that time, it could be helpful to share even the smallest details. Someone out there must know something.
