Hey everyone,
I've been reading a lot about the Lynn Kassler case recently, and one thing that keeps puzzling me is the weather conditions on the day they went missing. Does anyone know if there were any reports of unusual tides or storms on April 2, 1984, in the Columbia River area? I feel like this could be a crucial detail that might have been overlooked or not discussed enough. It just seems strange that a whole boat could disappear without a trace. Maybe local fishermen at the time had some insights or experiences they shared that might not have been widely reported. It's so frustrating when these details stay buried in time. Would love to hear if anyone has more info or theories about this aspect of the case.
I've always been fascinated by the mysteries surrounding the Columbia River. Lynn Kassler and his companions' disappearance is still so puzzling to me. I was wondering if anyone else has looked into the history of boating accidents or strange occurrences in that area around the same time. The sheer isolation and sometimes unpredictable weather conditions of the lower Columbia River near Astoria make me wonder if there could have been other similar incidents either before or after 1984. Maybe there's a pattern or something overlooked in past investigations? Any thoughts or additional info about other cases would be really interesting to hear.
