I've been following Michael and Terry Ralston's case, and I keep circling back to the local community's reaction back in '93. Jesup is a small, tight-knit town, and I can only imagine the shock and fear that spread when these two lives were suddenly and violently taken. I wonder how that night changed the close community dynamics—did people start locking their doors more tightly, or were there efforts organized to support the Ralston family and others affected? It's so difficult to think about the trauma that those who knew and loved Michael and Terry must have experienced. It's heartbreaking to see the ripple effect that such a senseless act of violence has on a whole community. I'm curious if anyone here has any insight or stories about how the town came together in the aftermath.
