I've been following the case of Harrison Butler, and it really strikes me how his murder is just one part of a larger, unsettling tapestry of violence in Baltimore, especially during 2009. The sense of frustration from the community is palpable, and I can only imagine the pain that Harrison's loved ones feel with the lack of answers or justice. It's infuriating that despite the frequency of these incidents, there appears to be little progress in solving them. Seeing how many cases from that year remain cold makes me wonder what more could have been done or what could still be done today to ensure that victims like Harrison aren’t forgotten. What steps do you all think are necessary to get some of these cases moving towards some resolution? Maybe increased resources or community involvement could help, but it feels like something has to change. Thoughts?
