I’ve been thinking a lot about Christine’s younger sister, Willshala. She was only 15 months old when the tragedy happened and was found unharmed. I can’t even begin to imagine how that night has impacted her life, growing up without her mother and sister, and knowing the horrific circumstances. I hope she has had a support system around her and has found some path to healing and understanding. It’s infuriating and deeply saddening that such an innocent child was caught up in such horror. The resilience of survivors like Willshala, who move forward and lead their lives despite such beginnings, never ceases to amaze me. Sending thoughts of strength to her and anyone else affected by this case.

I was reading through the old articles about the Christine Jenkins case and couldn't help but reflect on the role of that key witness. Can you imagine how crucial it was? It’s baffling that their status as a paid informant wasn’t disclosed initially. It’s a reminder of how vital transparency is in the justice process. This omission led to years of uncertainty and pain for Christine and Brenda’s loved ones, as if losing them wasn't already an unbearable ordeal. Every time I think about this case, I'm reminded of how a single piece of overlooked information can alter the course of justice entirely. Sending love and strength to those who continue to be impacted by this tragedy.
