Wow, I just came across this haunting case of the Daniels family from Santa Claus, GA. Even after all these years, their story is so gut-wrenching. As a parent myself, I can't get over the bravery of those foster kids who survived that horrific night. I mean, how terrifying it must have been for them to witness such an atrocity and still find the courage to hide and later speak with the police. It’s beyond comprehension. And hearing about how Danny and Kim embraced fostering with open hearts, providing a safe haven for children in need, makes this tragedy hit even harder. It’s shameful and infuriating that their kindness was repaid with such a brutal act. This story really highlights how we need to better protect all families, especially those doing the selfless work of fostering. My heart truly goes out to all those affected, and I hope those surviving foster kids have found support and healing over the years.
