Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Anthony Williams case from Augusta, and something that's been on my mind is how this tragedy unfolded in what was otherwise a quiet residential neighborhood. It just gets to me, thinking about how such violence can erupt in a place meant for safety and community. Have any other locals shared what the atmosphere has been like there since the incident? From the outside looking in, it feels like it must have been a huge shock to the neighbors, especially with a young life lost so abruptly. I keep wondering how the community has coped with this, both immediately afterward and in the years since. It's so important for communities to have access to support and resources during times like these. I hope the neighborhood has received the help it needed to heal.
