Many friends and colleagues have spoken so highly of her dedication to her work and her family. It’s so difficult to comprehend how someone who brought so much positivity into the world could have her life taken so violently. I've read about how involved she was with the community and the legal profession, always helping others and balancing her career with being a mom. It’s just so unfair that her children have to grow up without her. It's absolutely essential that we continue to raise awareness about domestic violence and provide support for those who may be in similar situations. It makes me think of all the untold stories and victims who need our attention. Let's honor Marie's memory by being vigilant and proactive.
