Hi all, I've been thinking a lot about the life Ernest "Skip" James III led and the type of person he must have been. It’s clear from the descriptions in his obituaries and the way his community talks about him that he was someone who brought a lot of joy and positivity to the people around him. Even though there's a lot we don't know about what happened, I think it's important to focus on the impact he had during his time here. What really stands out to me is the role his family played in his life. It’s obvious they were incredibly close-knit, which makes this loss all the more devastating. I hope that the love and memories they shared can offer them some comfort, even if it's just a little bit, as they navigate this unimaginable time. I can't help but wonder how the community is holding up, given how beloved Skip was. I'd love to hear more stories or memories about him from those who knew him personally. It seems like sharing and remembering the good times is one way we can keep his spirit alive amongst us. Please, if you feel comfortable, do share. Sending thoughts of strength to all who are still affected by his loss.
