I keep thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on the Brazilian community in Marietta. Losing Thelma and Euclides must have felt like losing family to so many people there. It’s comforting to see how communities like theirs come together in such dark times, offering support and love to one another. The way neighbors described the couple speaks volumes about their kindness and warmth. Even though I didn’t know them personally, it’s devastating to see such vibrant lives end so abruptly. My thoughts are with their families and everyone affected. I hope they can find some peace in the love and memories they shared with Thelma and Euclides. ❤️

I keep thinking about the neighbors who heard the gunshots that afternoon. It must have been terrifying to witness such a tragedy happening so close to home. I'm sure many of them are still processing what they heard and saw. Living in a community where everyone knows each other, this must feel like a ripple of loss impacting everyone. The strength and unity of that neighborhood is really coming through from the stories people are sharing about Thelma and Euclides. My heart goes out to those neighbors; I hope they find support and healing during this difficult time. Has anyone heard if the community is planning any memorials or gatherings to honor their lives?
