Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about how SMSGT William Joseph "Jody" Crooms contributed so much to the Brunswick community, not just through his military service but also as a poet. It's incredible how someone can leave such a meaningful mark in so many different ways. I've read that his poetry was quite cherished by those who knew him. Does anyone know if his poems were ever published or if they're available anywhere? It seems like it would be a beautiful way to remember him and celebrate his life. My heart goes out to his wife Brenda and their family. Losing someone who was such a staple in the community must be incredibly hard. I'm sure his legacy continues through his writings and the countless lives he touched. Appreciate any insights or links if his work is accessible somewhere—would love to read and honor his memory. Thanks.
