I was reading through the details of Betty Mulbah McClain’s case, and it’s just so upsetting to think about what her stepdaughter, T.S., went through. At only 12 years old, she not only lost Betty, someone she likely looked up to and cared about, but was also a victim in this tragedy herself. It's hard to imagine the trauma that she must be enduring, both physically and emotionally. It’s heartbreaking to know she was caught in such a violent situation. I hope she’s receiving all the support she needs to heal and cope with this horrific experience. Children like T.S. deserve much more than being witnesses to such violence. It highlights how domestic violence can ripple out and affect the entire family, especially the young ones. Sending all my thoughts and love to her and Betty’s family. ?
