I’ve been down the rabbit hole looking into Kay Kanaki’s disappearance and found something interesting. In 2017, a musician named Patrick Brayer, who was actually a childhood friend of Kay’s, released a song called "The Ballad of Kay Kanaki" to honor him. What an incredible tribute! I wonder if this song stirred any memories or brought any attention to his case back then. It’s clear that Patrick really wanted to keep Kay’s story alive. Has anyone here listened to the song? I’m curious if there are any clues in the lyrics or if it’s more of a personal homage. Sometimes music can really connect with people in unexpected ways. Would love to hear thoughts!
