I’ve been following Brandon Burns’ case for quite some time, and I can’t help but feel for his family, still waiting for justice all these years later. I was recently thinking about the Lookout Avenue area and the atmosphere there at the time of the murder. It seems like the neighborhood was really having a tough time with violence back then. I wonder how many other incidents might have gone unreported and if they could hold any clues. It breaks my heart thinking that maybe someone saw or knew something and just hasn’t come forward yet. Community trust was probably quite strained, and fear can be a powerful silencer. I really hope that, as time passes, someone will feel safe enough to share any information they might have. Brandon and his family deserve closure.
