I’ve been following Ivory Carter’s case, and one aspect that really struck me was the premeditated nature of the crimes by Mosley and Brown. The fact that they specifically targeted older men is chilling. It’s scary to think about how methodical and cold they were, treating people like they were just obstacles to their next payday. I can’t even begin to imagine what Ivory’s family must be going through, knowing that their loved one was chosen simply because he fit a “pattern” for these criminals. It's good to see the justice system did its job and held them accountable, but I sincerely hope that this case raises awareness so that others can avoid falling victim to similar schemes. It’s a tragic reminder of how unpredictable and dangerous the world can be.
