Hey everyone, I just finished reading about Michelle Jakaitis' disappearance, and something about it really caught my attention - her disappearance was around the New Year's Eve timeframe. I’m wondering if anyone has looked into local events or gatherings around Rumford and Dixfield during that time in 1986? There might have been some parties or festivities that Michelle attended. Maybe someone who was there noticed something out of the ordinary or saw her with someone. Also, with the case being so cold, new perspectives might reveal something overlooked back then. I hope more awareness can stir some memories or leads!

I was doing some digging into Michelle Jakaitis’s disappearance and found myself really intrigued by the timing. New Year's Eve seems like a lively night, where a stranger might stand out less, don’t you think? It’s odd because you’d assume with holiday crowds someone might have noticed something unusual, especially in smaller areas like Rumford and Dixfield. I'm curious if there were any local events she could have been at or if she was seen by anyone who hasn't come forward. Also, does anybody know if there were any specific concerns or incidents in the area around that time, like bad weather or heightened criminal activity? Sometimes, the context of the time can add more pieces to the puzzle. It's just baffling how she's vanished without a trace. Anyone else come across similar cases from the '80s that might share patterns?
