Does anyone else find it unsettling how Deandre's case seems to have slipped through the cracks? It's been over a decade, and we still have no answers. I was reading some old articles and saw how the community initially rallied around his family, which is amazing. But it feels like his story isn't getting the attention it deserves anymore. Deandre was only 27 and had his whole life ahead of him. It's so unfair that his killer is still out there. With all the advancements in technology and forensic science, one would hope there'd be more progress. Sending love to his family and hoping for some breakthroughs soon. Anyone have thoughts on how the community can renew efforts to bring his case back into the spotlight?
Hey everyone,
I came across Deandre Leeper’s case while browsing tonight and it just stuck with me. I've been thinking about the impact on his friends and family, especially since it’s been over a decade with no clear answers and the case still unsolved. It must be so painful for those who loved him.
What really gets to me is how these cases fade from the public eye, but the grief and longing for justice never go away for those left behind. I really hope that shining a light on cases like Deandre's can bring some sort of breakthrough. Does anyone know if there have been any recent efforts by the community or advocacy groups to push this case forward? With so many similar incidents happening in Baltimore around that time, it just feels so overwhelming, but I believe that every voice can make a difference.
Sending love to everyone who’s been affected ?
