Has anyone else been following details about the ransom calls in the tragic case of Jeronta Brown and Briana Brooks? It’s so difficult to comprehend how the family must have felt receiving those calls, desperately hoping for a miracle. I can’t imagine the terror they went through, trying to gather a ransom that might have seemed impossible to raise, all while fearing for the lives of their loved ones. The fact that they experienced such false hope is utterly devastating. How do these criminals expect families to come up with that kind of money on such short notice? My thoughts are with Kawana and Calvin as they process this unimaginable trauma. If anyone has theories on why the ransom was set at $150,000, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. It's hard not to wonder if there was something more to that amount.
