I can't stop thinking about the lack of reliable witness accounts in Gerald Hightower Jr.'s case. It's incredibly frustrating that no one has come forward with solid information after all this time. I can only imagine how difficult this has been for his family, not having any closure or answers. If anyone out there knows something—even if it seems insignificant—I hope they find it in their hearts to speak up. It could be the missing piece the investigators need to finally make progress. Events like this remind me of just how crucial a community’s role can be in finding justice for those we've lost. The Columbus Police have been doing what they can, but we as a community might hold the key to solving this and giving Gerald's family the peace they deserve.

Has anyone else been following the way the Columbus PD has been handling the media updates (or lack thereof) regarding Gerald Hightower Jr.'s case? It seems like after the initial buzz when the tragedy first hit, updates have become almost nonexistent. Being a resident not too far from Mason Drive, this hits close to home for me, and it's frustrating seeing how little is being shared publicly. I can only imagine how Gerald's family is feeling, having to endure the silence despite their pleas for more information. As someone invested in community safety and justice, I'm hoping the department increases transparency regarding their efforts. Has anyone heard anything recent or have any insight on their current strategy?
