Has anyone else been following the Runion case? I just can't get over the danger of these online transactions. They went to buy a car, something so many of us have done or thought about doing, and ended up in such an unimaginable situation. It's terrifying to think that someone like Jay Towns, who was known around McRae as a decent guy, could do something so horrific. My heart goes out to the Runion family. I think we all need to be more careful and aware when we're dealing with strangers, especially online. Does anyone have any tips or personal experiences about how to safely navigate these kinds of transactions?
