I came across another article on the Damian Stinchcomb case, and it's just so heavy. I feel for Damian's family and friends, who have had to endure this unimaginable loss for so many years. One detail that struck me is how the neighborhood was left in turmoil after his murder. The Etheridge Court Apartments and surrounding community must have been gripped by fear and sadness, especially knowing that Damian's life was cut short right there in their midst. It’s haunting to think about how a place people called home could become the setting for such a tragic event. I hope they find some peace and that, with the proceedings against John Ledbetter, they get the answers they need. Gun violence impacts so many in the blink of an eye, and it's devastating to see how long it can take to piece things back together.
