I’ve been following Jaquel Robinson’s case since it first happened, and it still shakes me to the core. I keep thinking about how it all went down at a post-prom party of all places, an event meant to celebrate young people moving forward in their lives. Instead, it ended in such a devastating loss. Dublin’s such a close-knit community, and something about this case just feels so personal, even to those who didn't know Jaquel. It's hard to understand how no one has come forward with any solid information yet. I imagine fear might be keeping people silent, but I keep hoping that someone out there will find the courage to speak up. My thoughts are constantly with Jaquel’s family and friends as they continue to search for justice. It can’t be easy having to relive this over and over without any closure. ?
