Has anyone else been following Lorraine Manuel's case and noticed the role her background in music played in the community's response? I’ve been reading a lot about her lately, and it’s clear she was such a vibrant part of Savannah’s arts scene. It’s so moving to see how her talent and love for music touched so many people. When I read about the tributes that took place after her passing, it was evident that her spirit was kept alive through the songs she loved. It's deeply saddening that her young son will grow up without his mother, but I hope the community continues to be there for him, influenced by the love they all shared for Lorraine and her music. Have others noticed tributes or events in honor of her memory? How impactful to see how a community can come together through shared grief and a celebration of someone’s spirit. Thoughts with her family and friends.
