I've been following the discussion about Trequavious "Trey" Elder's tragic death, and I can't get over how devastating this is for his family and friends. Knowing that his life ended over an argument is just so incomprehensible. I’ve been thinking about the community impact here and how this has likely heightened fears among those living in the North Grove Apartments. The fact that this incident occurred between neighbors adds another layer of complexity and sorrow. It's hard to imagine how unsettling it must be for other residents who, before this, lived alongside both Trey and Pass. I hope there’s a way for the community to come together and support one another through this difficult time. A life lost so young serves as a stark reminder of the urgent need for conflict resolution and violence prevention. Thinking of Trey’s loved ones and everyone affected.
