I just read about the case of Jayquan Turner and Ja'Von Wilson, and my heart goes out to their families. It's unimaginable what they must be going through. I was thinking about the aspect of how young all the people involved in this are. It's such a waste of young lives on all sides. The fact that someone as young as 18 can be charged with murder is just devastating. It really makes you wonder about the root causes involving youth and crime, and what can be done to prevent these tragedies. I hope the community can come together to find solutions and create better opportunities for young people in Savannah. Anyone know if there’s been any new initiatives or programs started since 2015 to address these issues?
