It's really disturbing how this case has seemed to hit a standstill. Sanders Moose Johnson Sr. was a pillar in the Dearing community. From what I've gathered, he was well-liked and respected by everyone who knew him. How does someone like that end up the victim of such a brutal crime without anyone coming forward with information? There were mentions early on about a possible manhunt, but nothing seems to have come out of it. I can't imagine the pain his family must be going through, having to wait for any scrap of news or development. Why do these investigations in smaller communities often slow down without leads? It's frustrating for us on the outside, so it must be devastating for those close to him. I'm hoping that more attention to the case can bring in new tips or jog a memory that could break this wide open. If there are persons of interest, maybe it's time for law enforcement to push forward with the investigation. Sanders deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.
