I’ve been thinking a lot about how public spaces aren't as safe as they should be, and Winslow Thomas’s tragic death really brings that issue to light. What struck me about this case was how it highlighted the complete lack of security and surveillance in places meant for transit. It's terrifying to think that someone could be attacked in such a public area and yet go unnoticed until it’s too late. It’s unacceptable that Winslow, or anyone for that matter, could experience something so violent in an area that's supposed to be secure for travelers and commuters. My heart goes out to the family and friends of Winslow. It's unimaginable having to lose someone to such a brutal incident, especially when it could potentially have been prevented with better safety measures. We need these changes implemented to protect others and ensure that no one else has to go through something like this. What are your thoughts on how we can push for better security and safety systems—do we need more community involvement, or is it strictly up to local authorities?
