It's so difficult to wrap my head around what Kysha's family must be going through. Losing someone you love is unimaginable, especially under such traumatic circumstances. I keep thinking about the children who witnessed this tragedy. It's not just the loss of Kysha but the psychological impact it must have on them. It's absolutely crucial that they get the support they need to process what's happened. This case really brings to light how quickly a domestic situation can escalate when mental health issues are involved, particularly for veterans. While nothing can excuse what happened, I hope it opens more discussions on how to prevent these incidents in the first place. My thoughts are with Kysha's family, especially her mom, who was there during such a horrific moment. No one should have to go through that kind of pain.
